John's wave injury. - Atlantis Beach ( Cabbage Beach)
ER -ICU- OR at 12:43 am Thursday. March 28 Dr. Magnus neurosurgeon - Dr. McDonald - anesthesiologist ACDF surgery at 12:43 am

Out of surgery and I talked to Dr. Magnus Ekedede at 4:30. He said there is a fracture and he removed two discs.

One of the most difficult surgeries he had performed out of about 7000,

Dr. Magnus Ekedede said to call his secretary in am to give info for insurance. He stated that he knows we could not pay his bill ( private surgeon). But would work on trying to fight with our insurance company.

Brought back to ICU at 5:07 am. Dr said John's BP was all over the place during surgery. Discs are up high under the mandible and his neck is short so they were hard to get to. I got to see John about 7:00 am.

Spent day March 28th, in the Doctor's Hospital in ICU drinking sips of water through a straw. John was given two sips of apple juice.
Given IV antibiotics this morning. Given steroid this eve about 8:30 pm.

Dopamine for pain thru IV. Complaints of choking with phlegm - given suction tube for me to suction out his mouth like a dentist office.

Received a call from an air ambulance at about 6:55 pm. Stating they will be picking John up for transport to Cleveland Clinic about 10:15 pm
